Garage Door Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and installation, with hands-on experience in various aspects of garage door systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all installations are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and related hardware.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during installations.
• Collaborate with team members on larger projects, ensuring timely completion.
• Conduct inspections of installed doors to ensure functionality and safety.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in glass installation, welding, and door hanging techniques.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting tasks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes and construction site experience is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and perform trim carpentry tasks.
• Skills in fixture installation, cabinet installation, frame carpentry, and locksmithing are advantageous.
• General maintenance person experience is beneficial, along with knowledge of metal stud framing and remodeling projects.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
