Duties
- Install doors, frames, and hardware according to specifications and blueprints.
- Perform glass installation and ensure proper sealing and caulking for weatherproofing.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various installation tasks.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
- Read and interpret schematics and construction drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Engage in fabrication tasks as needed, including trim carpentry and fixture installation.
- Provide maintenance person services, including minor electrical work or remodeling as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while managing tools and materials efficiently.
Skills
- Proficiency in door hanging techniques with experience in carpentry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Familiarity with welding practices is a plus.
- Experience in metal stud framing and cabinet installation is desirable.
