Counsel - Litigation Practice Group (San Diego, California)

JURISolutions is partnering with our law firm client in San Diego to hire an experienced Counsel Attorney with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Employment Law. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Role is hybrid with a minimum 2 days per week in-office.

Fundamental Responsibilities Are

• Case management, analysis, strategy, and oversight
• Proactive communication with NFC team
• Proactive communication with NFC clients
• Preparing pleadings and motions
• Preparing and responding to written discovery (including E-discovery)
• Preparing and responding to motions
• Attendance at depositions, hearings, motions, mediations
• Trial and arbitration preparation and attendance
  
  

Ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of substantive experience in employment law and be admitted to the California Bar. Exceptional legal writing, communication skills, vibrant interpersonal skills couple with the ability to thrive in a team environment are essential. Must also be able to manage multiple clients, meeting litigation deadlines and effectively handling competing priorities. Experience in supervising junior attorneys is a plus. .
