Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients for the position of Senior Director – Pricing Strategy & Execution. This executive leadership role will lead a global pricing organization and oversee the development, execution, governance, and compliance of enterprise-wide pricing strategies.
The successful candidate will drive profitable growth through pricing excellence, advanced analytics, pricing automation, and rigorous compliance standards while partnering closely with senior leadership across commercial, finance, operations, and technology functions.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and communicate a compelling vision for the global Pricing Strategy & Execution organization.
- Lead enterprise-wide pricing transformation initiatives aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Enhance pricing automation capabilities across the full pricing lifecycle.
- Establish robust data governance, pricing rules, and quality controls.
- Partner with business leaders and offering management teams to develop and execute pricing strategies.
- Ensure consistent global communication, deployment, and reporting of pricing initiatives.
Analytics, Insights & Market Intelligence
- Drive advanced analytics initiatives including data modeling, mining, visualization, and AI-enabled pricing solutions.
- Evaluate market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics to optimize pricing strategies.
- Lead price funnel management initiatives to deliver year-over-year margin expansion and revenue growth.
- Develop actionable insights that improve pricing effectiveness and business performance.
Pricing Operations & Controls
- Oversee global pricing operations, including pricing tools, governance boards, and standard price management systems.
- Monitor monthly and quarterly pricing performance across multiple pricing categories.
- Identify and eliminate pricing leakage through enhanced controls and governance.
- Manage pricing catalogs, dynamic pricing models, and pricing analytics platforms.
- Lead contract pricing reviews, renewals, and future pricing strategy development.
- Oversee annual price escalations, purchase order repricing, and labor rate adjustments.
- Manage Time & Material pricing, including BER and CID pricing models.
Pricing Compliance & Internal Audit
- Establish and maintain robust pricing compliance frameworks.
- Conduct internal pricing audits and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Support estimating system compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with internal and external auditors, including DCAA and DCMA.
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), TINA submissions, and post-submission audits.
- Develop and deliver compliance training across the organization.
- Maintain pricing policies, procedures, and system documentation.
