Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients for the role of Laborer to support paving operations. In this role, you will assist with maintenance, equipment operation, and general site activities to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain housekeeping standards across paving and plant sites
- Assist supervisors and team members with assigned tasks
- Support equipment operation and basic mechanical duties
- Handle materials, including shoveling and maintaining stockpiles
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report issues as needed
- Work flexible hours, including overtime when required
Required Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in construction, paving, or working around heavy equipment preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to follow instructions
- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
Additional Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection, may be required in accordance with safety regulations
