About the Role:
We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead multi-shift manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving production efficiency, quality, safety, and cost performance while mentoring cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Production Management:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple shifts, ensuring adherence to SOPs, safety, and quality standards
- Drive production targets by coordinating with maintenance, engineering, and inventory teams
- Optimize machine performance, assembly lines, and production flow
Quality & Process Improvement:
- Partner with quality teams to maintain standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and process optimization strategies
- Reduce waste and improve operational efficiency
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure workplace safety compliance and promote a culture of safety
- Maintain plant cleanliness and operational discipline
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop managers, supervisors, and production staff
- Manage performance reviews, training programs, and workforce planning
- Drive employee engagement and productivity
Communication & Collaboration:
- Facilitate team meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional coordination
- Ensure clear communication of goals, expectations, and performance metrics
Financial Management:
- Manage departmental budgets and drive cost-effective operations
- Align production outcomes with financial objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
