Role Overview
This position is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and installing plant machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair plant machinery and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, screens, and related systems
- Disassemble and repair equipment by replacing worn or damaged parts
- Install and relocate plant equipment according to engineering specifications
- Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Support maintenance of plant buildings and infrastructure as needed
- Perform emergency repairs during equipment breakdowns
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–4 years of industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience preferred
- Technical training or apprenticeship preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to work in physically demanding industrial environments
