About the Role
We are hiring an Aggregate Maintenance Manager on behalf of one of our clients. This role is responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, and reliability functions, along with engineering, projects, and plant services.
You will play a key role as part of the plant leadership team, driving performance, optimizing maintenance strategies, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team to drive high performance and operational excellence
- Provide leadership and technical expertise across maintenance functions
- Oversee maintenance operations to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Coordinate planning and resource allocation with internal stakeholders
- Align maintenance strategies with production goals and market demand
- Plan major maintenance projects and recommend capital investments
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance team members
- Manage departmental budgets and ensure cost efficiency
- Analyze operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Optimize equipment reliability and overall maintenance effectiveness
- Ensure proper utilization of maintenance resources
- Prepare reports, conduct analysis, and maintain department records
- Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent practical experience
Preferred Field of Study:
- Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering
Experience
- 5–7 years of management experience in aggregates, cement, or similar industrial environments
Technical Skills
- SAP experience strongly preferred
Additional Requirements
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage budgets and performance metrics
- Willingness to travel as required
- Commitment to safety and compliance with PPE requirements, including respirator use where applicable
