About the role
Join a manufacturing and engineering team supporting testing, troubleshooting, inspection, and validation activities for electronic products and assemblies. This role focuses on ensuring products meet quality, reliability, and performance standards within a fast-paced technical environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronics testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, and IPC-certified soldering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, continuity, diagnostic, and inspection testing on products and assemblies
Set up, operate, and calibrate test equipment including:
- Multimeters
- Oscilloscopes
- Spectrum analyzers
- Record test data, observations, and inspection results accurately
- Identify defects, malfunctions, and nonconformances and document findings
- Troubleshoot technical problems and support corrective action activities
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to improve product reliability and performance
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Maintain test equipment, fixtures, and tools
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing and manufacturing efficiency
- Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or technical certification preferred
Experience as a:
- Test Technician
- Electronics Technician
- Manufacturing Technician
- Strong understanding of troubleshooting and testing methodologies
- Experience using electronic test equipment such as:
- Multimeters
- Oscilloscopes
- Spectrum analyzers
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Candidates must have:
- ✅ IPC-A-610 Class 3
- OR
- ✅ J-STD Certification

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in:
- Aerospace
- Defense
- Electronics manufacturing
- Familiarity with:
- IPC/WHMA-A-620
- J-STD-001
- Experience supporting manufacturing test environments
Compensation
- Estimated hourly range: $22–$24/hr (W-2)
- Work Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM Start | 9/80 Schedule
- Work Location: 100% Onsite
- Contract Duration: 6 Months
- Interview Process: Onsite Interview Required
