About the role
Seeking an experienced RF Engineer to support the design, testing, and integration of advanced RF and antenna systems for defense and aerospace applications. This role will work cross-functionally with engineering teams to develop, validate, and optimize RF system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and analyze RF systems and antenna components including transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, and frequency converters
- Conduct antenna testing, RF evaluation, and performance validation to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Create test procedures, test plans, technical reports, and engineering documentation
- Troubleshoot signal interference, noise, power limitations, and RF performance issues
- Support RF system integration into larger aerospace and defense platforms
- Perform frequency planning and RF spectrum management activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of antenna theory and hands-on antenna testing experience
- Experience with antenna test ranges and short field antenna testing
- Proficiency with RF test and measurement equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
- Experience with MATLAB, ADS (Advanced Design System), CST Microwave Studio, or similar RF design/simulation tools
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills
Compensation
- Estimated hourly range: $55–$60/hr (W-2).
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
