About the role
Seeking an experienced RF Engineer to support defense and aerospace programs involving antenna systems, RF testing, system integration, and performance validation. This role will focus on antenna theory, RF measurements, troubleshooting, and development of RF test procedures within advanced engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop RF systems and antenna components for aerospace and defense applications
• Support RF system integration for aircraft, satellites, unmanned systems, and related platforms
• Perform antenna and RF testing to validate system performance and regulatory compliance
• Apply antenna theory and support antenna range and field testing activities
• Develop, execute, and maintain RF test procedures and validation documentation
• Troubleshoot RF performance issues including signal interference, noise, and power limitations
• Perform frequency planning and RF spectrum management activities
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering documentation
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams
• Utilize RF simulation and design tools such as MATLAB, ADS, and CST Microwave Studio
• Operate RF testing equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of antenna theory and RF system fundamentals
• Experience with antenna testing, antenna ranges, and RF measurements
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment and RF validation activities
• Experience creating RF test procedures and technical documentation
• Familiarity with RF simulation/design tools including MATLAB, ADS, or CST Microwave Studio
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Aerospace or defense industry experience preferred
Compensation
Estimated pay range: $55–$60/hr (W-2).
Final compensation will depend on experience, technical skills, and interview evaluation.
