About the role
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support process development, production optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on improving manufacturability, driving operational efficiency, supporting quality initiatives, and implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and document manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction initiatives
• Analyze production data and support manufacturability assessments for new and existing products
• Evaluate, implement, and support manufacturing equipment to ensure operational and regulatory compliance
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to improve quality, productivity, and operational performance
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to investigate and resolve production-related quality issues
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components
• Maintain manufacturing documentation and generate production metrics, KPI reports, and process tracking data
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, manufacturing standards, and operational procedures
• Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective and preventive safety measures
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations within industrial, aerospace, electronics, or defense environments preferred
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and process optimization methodologies
• Experience creating manufacturing documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and process flows
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working with manufacturing equipment, production systems, and KPI reporting tools
• Ability to collaborate effectively with production, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
Compensation
Estimated pay range: $50/hr – $55/hr on W2.
Final compensation will depend on experience, technical skills, and interview evaluation.
Salary : $50 - $55
