About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to support the design, administration, and security of enterprise AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, DevOps, and cloud automation, along with a passion for building secure, scalable, and compliant cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support AWS cloud environments
- Implement AWS cloud governance and security controls
- Maintain compliance standards across AWS platforms
- Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform
- Support DevOps and CI/CD processes using GitLab
- Troubleshoot AWS infrastructure and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with security teams to maintain secure AWS baselines
- Build, maintain, and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong experience with AWS cloud technologies and services
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cloud networking concepts is preferred
- Knowledge of NIST 800-171 or similar compliance frameworks is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation:
- $65–$70/hr on W2 (based on experience)
