What's the Job?
- Oversee and maintain safety, quality, and production standards within the assigned department
- Ensure proper staffing levels are achieved and maintained
- Enforce all safety practices and prepare daily efficiency reports to meet or exceed targets
- Verify compliance with HACCP documents and monitor GMPs
- Apply BRC principles and ensure team adherence to global standards
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food processing, with familiarity in USDA and HACCP standards
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework or a Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to make quick, sound decisions and lead a team effectively
- Knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures, GMPs, safety standards, and BRC or similar global standards
