What You'll Actually Do:
- Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare complex journal entries, reconciliations, and multi-entity allocations across global destination entities.
- Develop and maintain standardized accounting procedures and documentation to improve consistency across international operations.
- Review AP and AR activity to ensure proper coding and accounting accuracy.
- Prepare financial reports and perform location-level financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Coordinate accounting data and compliance requirements with international accounting firms in countries including Italy, France, and Mexico.
- Assist with annual audits by preparing schedules, supporting documentation, and serving as a primary liaison for external auditors.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and increase operational efficiency.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with public accounting experience highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, reconciliations, and multi-entity accounting.
- Experience preparing complex journal entries, intercompany transactions, and department/location allocations.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate and reliable financial information.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with international partners.
- Experience with Sage Intacct is strongly preferred, along with advanced Excel skills and a systems-oriented mindset.
- Prior experience in hospitality, luxury travel, property management, vacation rentals, or another multi-location business is a plus.
Where and How Much:
- Target Compensation: $105k-$115k
- Bonus & Perks: annual bonus opportunity, equity/stock option participation, Unlimited PTO, and comprehensive insurance.
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote.
- Location: Denver Tech Center.
Salary : $115,000 - $120,000
