What are the responsibilities and job description for the Testing Coordinator (78795) position at IONA UNIVERSITY?
The Testing Coordinator of the Samuel Rudin Academic Resource Center is responsible for coordinating and supervising the testing of students with academic accommodations.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing the day-to-day operations for the testing center. This includes scheduling exams and proctors, developing testing policies and procedures, communicating these procedures to faculty and staff, and training proctors. May proctor examinations if proctor is unavailable.
2. Ensures facilitation of testing accommodations. This includes reviewing testing accommodations for each student, securing the appropriate accommodation (ex: reader/scribe), and monitoring exam conditions for appropriate facilitation of accommodations.
3. Maintains security of exams and materials. This includes appropriate storage of exams, ensuring all materials are collected and scanning/holding exams for faculty retrieval.
4. Maintains testing statistics to report to Director. This includes number of exams proctored, type of accommodations proctored, and number of students serviced. Prepares weekly reports to submit to Director.
5. Assists with the operations of the academic resource center as needed.
