Key Responsibilities and Duties for the Fabricator Include:
- Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to create components and products accurately.
- Use tools such as shears, lathes, and presses to cut, bend, and form raw materials, especially metal, to precise specifications
- Join fabricated components together using various methods, including welding, to create a final product.
- Safely operate heavy machinery, power tools, and welding equipment needed for the fabrication process.
- Inspect finished products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Work with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Required Qualifications for the Fabricator Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience performing similar functions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and good motor skills.
- The ability to perform precise work and identify minor flaws.
- Skill in troubleshooting and ensuring products function correctly.
- Ability to manage tasks, time, and equipment efficiently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds through out the shift.
