Hammer & Steel seeks to hire a Certified Welder/Fabricator to join our team in St. Louis, MO.
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm

Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble steel structures and equipment through use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.
- Weld new parts and / or make welding repairs on previously manufactured parts and rental equipment.
- Perform MIG, TIG, Stick welding.
- Produce specific components for welding according to project specifications.
- Read prints and work with engineering to produce fabricated parts
- Weld components in horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
- Travel within assigned region, as needed, to customer job sites to perform work.
- Mentor and train newly hired welders joining Hammer & Steel.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older; Valid driver's license with clean MVR
- Three (3) or more years of relevant welding experience; MIG, TIG and Stick
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
Preferred Requirements:
- Vocational/Technical degree
- Five (5 ) years’ experience heavy structural welding
- Moderate Metallurgy knowledge
