Job Summary
The Operations Clerk II is responsible for supporting branch operations through accurate data management, order processing, accounts receivable support, and resolution of customer and system-related discrepancies. The role requires strong analytical capabilities to investigate issues, cleanse and validate data, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of business transactions across multiple systems.
This position demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can work independently, navigate multiple platforms (including ERP and CRM systems), and resolve both routine and non-routine operational issues with minimal supervision. The role plays a key part in maintaining billing accuracy, timely invoicing, and effective customer issue resolution across business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment aligned with organizational standards
- Create, process, and manage customer orders for quoted jobs or installations within SAP/ERP systems, including moderately complex and customized requirements
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve accounts receivable and billing discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
- Review, validate, and cleanse operational and customer data to maintain system integrity and reporting accuracy
- Manage resolution of purchase orders flagged for non-compliance, ensuring adherence to business rules and customer requirements
- Support resolution of customer order issues processed through third-party systems or vendors
- Perform non-routine operational tasks related to customer service, order management, and financial reconciliation
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, issue resolution, and service quality
- Support multiple business units simultaneously while prioritizing tasks based on urgency and business impact
Travel Requirements
- Up to 5% travel, as required
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- OR
- Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated capability in a comparable operational, analytical, or administrative role
