Job Description:
The Manager Supply Chain Contracts is responsible for overseeing the contract review process within the health system, ensuring that all contracts align with company policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards. Manages the full contract lifecycle, contract execution, compliance monitoring and renewals for all contracts, including but not limited to supply chain, physician contracts, property leases, etc. This role manages a team of Contract Administrators, establishes standardized contract language, and determines when contracts require legal counsel review.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
- 3-5 years' experience in healthcare supply chain, purchasing, contracting or vendor management. Preferably with supplier contracts, negotiations, and document review.
- Experience managing both GPO and non-GPO contracts and agreements for both medical and non-medical supplies
- Hands-on experience with a contract repository system
- Proven ability to lead a team and implement contract management processes.
- Knowledge of healthcare specific procurement practices and value-based care models.
- Excellent negotiation, risk assessment and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with EHR vendors, medical supply agreements and healthcare IT contracts.
- Proficiency with contract management software and ERP Systems (i.e. PeopleSoft, Oracle, Coupa)
- Strong MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to work under stress imposed by deadlines and multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and management skills.
Salary : $110,000 - $115,000
