Position: Robotics Technician
Location: onsite in Mountain View, CA 94043
Duration: 6-month contract with high likelihood of extension
Pay Rate: $28-33/hour (depending on experience)
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Mountainview, CA
- Personal and/or professional experience servicing, troubleshooting, maintaining mechanical and/or electro-mechanical systems (root cause analysis, debugging, hardware repair, etc.)
- A hard working, handy, critical thinker with a passion for working on cars, aircrafts, large appliances, military equipment, heavy machinery, factory or semiconductor capital equipment, and/or ROBOTS
Job Description
Seeking a Robot Service Technician to join the humanoid product ecosystem of a leading robotics company. This position will be responsible for daily robot and system operation, repairs, maintenance, and spare parts management. In addition, this role is focused on maintaining high uptime on robotic systems, documenting performance, tracking fleet reliability, and supporting other team members. Responsibilities also include:
- Report daily status of robot fleet
- Perform basic troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and spare parts management
- Document processes, work instructions, user manuals, troubleshooting guides, knowledgebase articles, FAQ's, training plans, and any other materials needed to maximize system uptime
- Record and document system performance, issues, and suggestions for improvement
IG Consultants: While on contract, you will be an Insight Global employee working for a particular company/end client on W2.
- Pay Day: You will be paid out each Friday and one week in arrears. This means you will receive payment for this week’s hours next Friday.
- Holidays/Time Off: While a consultant through Insight Global, the hours you work are they hours you will be paid. We do not offer paid sick days, paid time off, or paid holidays, except as required by applicable law.
