About the Role
We are seeking a Program Manager to join a multi-disciplinary team supporting installation engineering and management functions for the U.S. Air Force Academy. This role plays a critical part in ensuring state-of-the-art facilities for cadets and future Air Force leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Facility Asset Management Plan (AMP) and coordinate project authorizations.
- Apply technical knowledge of Air Force Instructions (AFI 32-1032, AFI 32-1023) for planning and programming maintenance, repair, and construction projects.
- Define project scopes to meet mission needs and articulate benefits and impacts.
- Assist in writing and processing DoD Form 1391 for FSRM and MILCON projects.
- Develop rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimates using government-provided software.
- Prepare detailed deliverables: justifications, space calculations, site plans, funding timelines.
- Advise on Base Comprehensive Asset Management Plan (BCAMP) and Congressional funding documentation.
- Support pre-acquisition efforts and generate project lists (BCAMP, MILCON, UMMC, ERCIP).
- Collaborate with Civil Engineering Operations Flight and other mission partners.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to pass a government background check.
- U.S. Citizenship (naturalized or native-born).

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
