Must Haves:
- 2 years’ experience designing, configuring, and implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems
- 2 years of direct Emerson Syncade experience
- Experience with:
- Debugging configuration items and behaviors within Syncade
- Migrating solution components between Syncade environments
- Experience debugging configuration items within the Syncade / Emerson DeltaV MES application
- Experience in a cGMP facility or working with FDA regulations, S88 batch model, ISA 95, GAMP5 and 21 CFR Part 11 (ERES)
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking two MES Engineers to support a large pharmaceutical expansion in the Raleigh‑Durham area.
In this role, the MES Engineer will support system integration and product‑specific configuration for two drug substance manufacturing facilities. Process equipment is primarily controlled by a DeltaV DCS, with product configuration executed across DeltaV DCS, DeltaV MES, and a custom system used for formula parameter management. This position requires close collaboration with the MES team to implement DeltaV MES configuration changes, as well as ongoing coordination with Manufacturing to support product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
The MES Automation Support Engineer will be responsible for:
- Supporting the design and implementation of an Emerson Syncade Manufacturing Execution System to enable paperless manufacturing, with full ERP/MES/DCS integration and enforced workflows within a environment
- Participating in regularly scheduled project status meetings
- Providing design review and input on system requirements and lifecycle documentation for core MES functionality, including:
- Order Management and Material Management, Bill of X (Materials, Parameters, Transactions)
- Workflow Execution, EBR, QRM,
Salary : $55 - $80
