Staff Pharmacist

Schedule & Shifts:

• 160 hours in a 4-week period
• Average of 40 hours per week
• Work week: Sunday – Saturday
• Weekend requirement: 2 weekends per 4‑week period (they will work Saturday and Sunday the weekend they are on)
• Lunch: Pharmacy closed 1:00–1:30 PM
• No on‑call

Schedule & Shifts

• 32 hours/week – need to be willing to flex up to 40 hours if needed
• If they work more than 32 hours, they will get paid hourly on top of the above salary
• Work week: Sunday – Saturday
• Must provide availability for 5 days, but may only work 4 days/week

MUST HAVES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Active state pharmacist license in good standing
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills

PLUSES:

• 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Bilingual (spoken and/or written)

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions while ensuring patient safety
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations (including HIPAA)
• Maintain inventory control, including controlled substances
• Uphold quality assurance standards and utilize accuracy tools and audits
• Deliver a positive customer experience through professionalism and teamwork
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and leadership to meet operational needs
