Materials Engineer

Title: Materials, Processes and Physics Engineer 3: Composite/ Interior Composite

Location: Everett, WA. 100% on site

Shift: 7-8am to 3:30-4:30pm

Duration: 12 months

PR: 50-60/hr

A client in Everett, WA is looking for several Materials, Processes and Physics Engineers (MP&P Engineers) to support the testing of a new plane being delivered. These individuals will define requirements for materials, parts and processes used in the manufacturing of products. T60hey will produce specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of materials, parts and processes. They will maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations, as well as promoting the standardization of business activities. Part of the role is evaluating emerging technologies for potential applications for business needs.

Day to Day activities:

• Developing and qualifying new materials, parts and processes to meet requirements
• Integrates new technologies as appropriate
• Manage test and audit programs to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements
• Conduct analysis to determine reasons for failures of materials, parts and processes
• Implement corrective and preventive actions
• Design, develop and qualify computer and production systems to satisfy user req

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience OR Master's degree and 3 years of experience
• Previous experience working with composite materials, materials allowable
