A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Conference & Marketing Coordinate to join a customer in Leawood, KS. This role owns end-to-end conference planning and execution while supporting broader marketing operations, acting as a key liaison across Marketing, Sales, and leadership. Day-to-day, they manage conference calendars, logistics, travel, vendor coordination, and on-site execution, while ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met. They capture and track conference leads, coordinate follow-up with sales, and build ROI reporting by analyzing costs, attendance, and outcomes. Additionally, they support internal marketing needs including asset coordination, branded material ordering, and inventory management. This is a highly detail-oriented, operational role focused on project management, cross-functional coordination, and tracking performance to drive continuous improvement.
Additional Notes:
- This person with own conference planning and strategy: determine which events to attend, who participates, and level of involvement (attending vs. exhibiting)
- Manage full logistics for exhibiting conferences, including contracts, coordination with accounting/legal, booth design and branding, ordering materials (tables, chairs, swag), and shipping assets
- Opportunity to attend 2–3 larger conferences each year
- Serve as the primary lead for conference execution, while also being comfortable onsite—networking, staffing the booth, and representing the company
- Track and manage all post-conference leads (paper and digital business cards)
