What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Specialist position at Insight Global?
Our client, a local municipality, is currently seeking an experienced Desktop Support professional. This person will work in an on-site model, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
This candidate will be the primary point of contact for multiple lines of business within the organization, so they must be well-versed in working with and troubleshooting a multitude of technologies.
Note: This is a 12 Month Contract with extensions!
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 Years of desktop support experience in an enterprise-level organization.
- Professional experience working for organizations that utilize multiple network and system environments.
- Professional experience with Active Directory.
- Hands-on imaging experience.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- State or local level government experience
- Experience imaging devices with Tanium
Compensation:
$25 to 40/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Salary : $50,000 - $80,000
