Business & Data Analyst – Retail/Fashion
Location: Secaucus, NJ | On-site
Experience: 8–10 years | Full-Time
Seeking an experienced Business & Data Analyst with a strong accounting/finance background and proven experience in the retail, fashion, apparel, or e-commerce industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales, financial, operational, merchandising, and e-commerce data.
- Prepare business reports, dashboards, KPIs, and financial analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, P&L, and variance analysis.
- Build and maintain advanced Excel reports, models, and reconciliations.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Merchandising, Operations, and E-commerce teams.
- Identify trends, business opportunities, and process improvements.
Requirements:
- 8–10 years of Business, Data, Financial Analysis, or Accounting experience.
- Strong retail/fashion/apparel brand experience.
- Strong accounting and financial analysis knowledge.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
- SQL/Power BI and ERP experience is a plus.
