About the Role
We are seeking a Personal Computer Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for desktop hardware, software, and network connectivity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting end-user systems while ensuring seamless workstation setup and migration.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure personal computer hardware and peripherals (monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, disk drives)
- Load, configure, and verify software including operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other business applications
- Perform network connectivity setup and troubleshooting
- Handle user profile, data, and application migration between workstations
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and OS-related issues
- Perform minor hardware repairs or escalate to specialized support teams when needed
- Provide timely technical support to end users and ensure minimal downtime
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop OS (Windows 10/11)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (O365)
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory (user management, group policies)
- Experience with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop, hardware, and software issues
- Experience with endpoint security tools (Trellix ENS / McAfee)
- Knowledge of printer setup and LPR printing
