Job Title: Finishing Utility / Flatpack
Pay Rate: $19/hr. ON W2
Location: Conover, NC, USA, 28613
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shift)
Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off
Type: Temp to Hire
Work Environment: Onsite
Job Summary:
Responsible for feeding cartons onto belts and packing cartons using automatic packers or manual methods
Support production operations in finishing and flatpack/sorting areas
Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S and plant standards
Assist with pallet movement using pallet jacks in non-forklift areas
Key Responsibilities:
Load cartons onto conveyor belts with proper alignment and stacking
Pack cartons into boxes using automated or manual processes
Perform quality checks to ensure product standards are met
Operate shrink tunnels and assist with robot packing processes
Transport pallets using electric pallet jacks
Change pallets and manage material flow during production
Follow job specifications and packing requirements
Maintain accurate production flow and meet deadlines
Support additional tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of safe working techniques
Basic math and measurement skills (ruler, tape, calculator)
Basic computer skills
Good communication and ability to follow instructions
Mechanical aptitude preferred
Forklift certification is a plus
Safety & PPE:
Steel toe shoes required from Day 1
Safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and bump cap required
Must follow all safety policies and procedures
