What You Will Do
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanning equipment, ensuring safety and timeliness.
- Be proficient in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to follow established procedures.
- Review and complete orders according to established guidelines. Retrieve merchandise from bins or shelves.
- Read order forms to confirm the numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
- Inspect inventory items for defects before preparing them for shipment. Transport materials to departments using hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks, lift equipment, or conveyors.
- Place merchandise in totes, shipper cartons, carts, or pallets to be processed in packing or wrapping stations before being loaded onto shipping trucks or containers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English; required for the safe and effective performance of the job.
- Prior warehouse forklift experience is preferred.
- Basic math aptitude.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform heavy and repetitive lifting, with up to 60 pounds required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
