Product Design Engineer 2

Position: Product Design Engineer 

Compensation: $ 85,000 - $ 100,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Product Design Engineer  to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for an engineering professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, supporting product development, and working closely with cross-functional teams. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design, documentation, and improvement of engineered valve products while helping ensure quality, manufacturability, and customer satisfaction. If you’re looking for a hands-on position where your technical input directly impacts product performance and delivery, this could be a great next step.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support quotations and technical clarification for customer applications
• Select materials and valve configurations for specific media applications
• Size valves and prepare customer data sheets
• Create product cut sheets, drawings, and bills of material
• Develop and process engineering change requests and notices
• Support product design, problem solving, and sustaining engineering work
• Assist assembly, supply chain, and quality teams with technical documentation
• Create and maintain part nomenclatures and numbering structures
• Develop build and test procedures for assembly
• Provide training on assigned product lines

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or MET
• 2-4 years of related engineering experience
• Experience with industrial or refinery service applications
• Application and design knowledge in valves or similar products
• Strong documentation and computation skills
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
• Ability to work on-site in the Oklahoma City area

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with safety relief valves
• Background with rupture or buckling pin devices
• Knowledge of control or dump valves
• Exposure to regulators and chokes
• Familiarity with ASME, API, and ANSI/ISA standards
• Understanding of metallurgy and welding
• Knowledge of NACE MR0175 requirements
• Experience with upstream, midstream, or downstream applications
