Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Senior Mechanical Product Design Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, experienced in launching products, and passionate about transforming ideas into high-quality, manufacturable solutions.In this role, you will design new products, improve existing ones, and play a hands-on role in bringing concepts to market. Success requires sharp attention to detail, strong technical expertise, and the ability to manage projects from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design mechanical components and product assemblies using CAD software.
- Create and iterate product concepts based on market needs, design requirements, and usability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation processes to ensure product reliability and quality.
- Preparing technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for manufacturing and production.
- Identify opportunities for product improvements and innovative solutions to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies relevant to mechanical product design.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with product prototyping, testing, and design validation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience designing automotive or consumer products is a plus.
