Position: Manager Application Development

Compensation: $130,000 - 150,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Manager Application Development to join their team!

You’ll lead application development as a hands-on engineering manager, partnering with product and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software at pace. This is a great opportunity to help shape modern, AI-enabled delivery practices while also strengthening payment-focused engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead and develop application engineering teams to deliver software outcomes
• Drive modern engineering standards, patterns, and code quality
• Translate product and business needs into actionable delivery plans
• Embed Agile/Scrum practices into team workflows and planning
• Oversee CI/CD, automated testing, and observability practices
• Partner cross-functionally to improve reliability and engineering execution
• Support payment system integrations, including POS/retail payment flows
• Build guardrails and team adoption for AI-assisted development tools
• Manage team performance with a coaching-first leadership approach

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 8 years of application development experience
• 2 years leading development teams
• Strong knowledge of software development patterns and practices
• Experience with Git-based workflows and version control
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery and iterative planning
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability
• Experience integrating payment systems (strong plus for POS/retail)
• Comfort operating across Microsoft stack technologies

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with payment processing integrations and PCI-DSS awareness
• Knowledge of tokenization and secure payment flows
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot)
• Experience with React front-end, .NET, middleware, and SQL
