Location: Peru, Indiana
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 bonus

Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field OR equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
- Proven ability to lead troubleshooting and solve complex equipment/process issues
- Experience training, coaching, or mentoring team members
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including weekends or extended hours as needed

You will oversee maintenance teams and play a key role in keeping production running smoothly while maintaining compliance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with production to minimize downtime
- Develop and implement maintenance systems such as PM, PdM, TPM, SOPs, and safety programs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide both immediate fixes and long-term solutions
- Track and report maintenance performance using KPIs (OEE, reliability, vendor performance, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and plant standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory
- Foster a strong team culture through coaching, development, and leadership
- Advanced technical expertise in:
- Ammonia refrigeration systems
- High-pressure boilers
- Compressed air systems
- PLCs, instrumentation, mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems, work orders, and inventory systems
- Strong leadership capabilities including conflict resolution, delegation, and change management
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and accountability
- A leadership style that builds respect, trust, and performance
