We are seeking a skilled Automation (Controls) Engineer to design, integrate, and maintain manufacturing equipment controls and automation systems across multiple facilities. This role requires a hands-on engineer with strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to support plant operations, start-ups, and continuous system improvements.

This role requires a hands-on engineer with strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to support plant operations, start-ups, and continuous system improvements.
Must-Haves
- Experience with Rockwell Automation: RSLogix 5, 500, 5000, Studio; RSView; FactoryTalk Studio
- Controls & Automation Skills: PLC programming, HMI development, industrial communications networks
- Electrical & Industrial Knowledge: Electrical concepts, sensors, drives, and field devices
- Travel: Willingness to travel to all facilities for project work and start-ups
- Driver’s License: Must have a valid license and ability to fly commercially
- Hands-On Impact: Work directly with Plant Operations and Control Technicians to improve system efficiency and troubleshoot automation issues.
- Technical Breadth: Gain exposure to Wonderware System Platform, InTouch, InBatch, Historian, PowerFlex drives, PointIO/FlexIO, and industrial networking.
- Collaboration: Develop strong relationships with operations teams to evolve systems architecture and maximize output.
- Documentation & Support: Create procedures and training materials for local maintenance teams.
- Programming: C , Visual Basic, Java, Python
- Industrial networks: Cisco hardware, WAN/LAN understanding
- Tools: Microsoft SQL, AutoCAD, VMware Workstation Player, vSphere
- Excellent verbal and written communication, customer-focused approach, and ability to work independently
