About:
An AM ranked law firm are looking to add a Partner into their growing Real Estate group. The firm are focusing their growth in their Texas offices. It would be highly beneficial if the candidate has a portable book of business, small or large, as this platform has significant potential for growth.
The Real Estate team has an outstanding platform both nationally and internationally with a depth of experience across all real estate sectors including hospitality, housebuilding, multi-family/private rented sector, retail, industrial, office, healthcare, real estate lending, transport, and commercial timberland.
Ideal candidate:
- The candidate must have several years of experience in working on broad commercial real estate transactions, including substantial commercial real estate finance experience.
- Knowledge of real estate acquisition and dispositions, property management and asset management, real estate development and construction.
- Commercial real estate leasing experience, including the representation of large institutional landlords.
- Experience representing lenders on commercial real estate projects, including office, retail, hotel, multi-family and residential.
- Experience drafting and negotiating real estate secured finance documents, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and development related documents such as easements and CC&R’s.
- Reviewing diligence documentation related to real property, including title, survey, organisational documentation, construction documents and service contracts including property management agreements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills, and the ability to manage client engagements.
- Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities and junior attorneys.
