The Position:
A highly regarded and long-established full-service law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Partner to join its growing Pittsburgh office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer with an established practice or strong business development capabilities to play a key role in expanding a busy and respected labor and employment practice.
The successful candidate will advise employers across a broad range of workplace matters, providing strategic counsel on day-to-day employment issues while representing clients in complex litigation, investigations, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings. The role offers significant autonomy, direct client relationships, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters while contributing to the continued growth of a collaborative and entrepreneurial practice.
Requirements:
- 10 years' experience in labor and employment law.
- Significant experience in employment litigation and labor relations.
- Experience representing employers before local, state, and federal administrative agencies.
- Strong background in employment counselling and day-to-day workplace advisory matters.
- Experience with traditional labor matters, including labor arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, and unfair labor practice charges, is highly desirable.
- Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania and good standing with the applicable Bar.
