Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision, flair, and adherence to safety standards.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic retail math calculations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy nights or events like banquets and nightclubs.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, and supplies; assist with restocking as needed.
• Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety.
• Assist in catering or special event setups, including food handling and serving duties when required.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions, cash handling, and retail math tasks.
• Experience working in the food industry or retail environment is preferred; brewing or beverage-specific knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
