Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab SPT/Technician to support its Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
The SPT will assist with Cath Lab procedures, support patient care and procedural activities, prepare and maintain the procedural environment, and work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Cath Lab procedures according to scope of practice.
- Prepare patients and the procedural environment.
- Assist the clinical team during procedures.
- Maintain equipment and supplies as required.
- Follow infection-control and sterile/aseptic procedures as applicable.
- Monitor and support patient safety.
- Maintain appropriate clinical/procedural documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other Cath Lab personnel.
- Follow hospital policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant Cath Lab SPT/Technician experience.
- Minimum 1 year of travel experience.
- Must be willing to work 48 hours/week.
- Must be available for 12-hour shifts.
- Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Current certifications applicable to the position.
- Appropriate education, license, registration, or certification required for the specific SPT role.
- EMR/charting experience.
- Complete travel assignment history required.
