Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and a KY or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Cath Lab department of a hospital setting
- 4x10-hour day shifts scheduled Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm
- Call required 1-2 times per week and 1-2 weekends per month
- Float required within scope of practice
- Meditech charting system experience preferred
- Provides scrubs and a lead apron for cases
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- IR experience a plus
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered
- Driver's license matching permanent address required for consideration
- Two professional references required, including one charge or higher and one supervisor reference completed within the last year
- Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted (medical and religious exemptions considered case-by-case)
Additional Information
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility for STEMI call response
- Must work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment
- Up to 7 days of RTO considered if submitted upfront with no changes accepted
- Travelers must take a minimum 6-month break after working one year before being eligible to return
- Traveler pairs accepted on a limited basis and will not be scheduled on the same shift or unit
- Orientation occurs on a bi-weekly basis
