Description
American Traveler is hiring a PET-CT Technologist with dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and CT for a 13-week travel assignment in Eastern Montana.
Details
- Outpatient imaging setting within a health center launching a new PET-CT department
- 4x9 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Modalities include PET/CT imaging within a Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging setting
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Active state license required if applicable
- BLS, ARRT(N), ARRT(CT), and NMTCB certifications required
- Dual proficiency in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography imaging
Additional Information
- Perform PET/CT imaging, interpret physician orders, and select appropriate imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Help establish protocols and workflows as part of a newly launched PET-CT department
- Responsible for training new technologists and patient coordinators
- Troubleshoot imaging equipment and related peripherals
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
