We're a fast-growing, web-focused business looking for a results-oriented individual to elevate our position in the industry as the leader of our creative and design team. The Social Media Marketer will be focused on profitable traffic and customer growth via content creation and syndication and promotional messaging via a diverse range of social media marketing strategies.
This role will create and execute a social media marketing calendar in conjunction with the product marketing, brand, and SEO teams. The Social Media Marketer will be responsible for generating traffic and engagement that directly leads to customer acquisition and revenue. They will administer and monitor our social media channel across various platforms and enact strategies that enhance our brands’ online visibility and reputation, while leading to sales growth.
This position will be an integral part of our next-level marketing efforts, helping to build our portfolio of brands and businesses as experts in their respective industries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of direct marketing via social media, content marketing, traffic generation, SEO, and marketing analytics.
The Social Media Marketer has a unique opportunity to collaborate with a variety of teams in our organization to create best-in-class content, build lasting brands, and increase traffic and sales. Strong skills in copywriting, graphic design, video editing, and marketing content strategy are required; SEO and data analytics skills are not required, but are a plus. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Conduct keyword research and SEO optimization to increase visibility and reach on search engines and social platforms.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) for graphic design, photography, and video editing to produce high-quality visual content.
- Proofread all content for accuracy, tone, and branding consistency before publishing.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media management to continuously improve strategies.
- Identify opportunities for social media-driven campaigns within the business through data analysis, competitive research, and collaboration with cross-functional partners
- Plan and implement content calendar to meet business goals
- Monitor social media platform “health” and performance; engaging with customers and improving our platform KPIs
- Collaborate with creative peers to improve quality and efficiency of creative output
- Grow our brands’ visibility in the social media channel through increased customer engagement
Qualifications·
- 2 years social media, graphic design, eCommerce or digital marketing experience
- Strong skills in benefits-driven copywriting
- Graphic design and video editing skills
- Experience in utilizing data analysis to inform campaigns and projects
- Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with video editing software for creating engaging multimedia content.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, web analytics, and Google Analytics.
- Ability to develop compelling content tailored for various platforms with attention to proofreading details.
- Familiarity with Facebook Advertising and other paid social media campaigns.
- Excellent relationship management skills for engaging with followers and partners.
- Skills in public relations to manage brand reputation proactively.
