About the Role
The Quality Engineer, Server Manufacturing (Server Operations Specialist, Quality) will own quality assurance, inspection standards, and continuous improvement for server hardware operations supporting a major cloud infrastructure client.
Key Responsibilities
• Own quality assurance strategy and inspection standards for server hardware production
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues (e.g., SCAR, CAPA)
• Monitor quality metrics (SPC, FMEA, FAI) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Testing, Process, and Manufacturing teams to prevent quality escapes
• Ensure compliance with client quality requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Manage material review board (MRB) and incoming quality control (IQC) processes
Qualifications
• 5–8 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance in a hardware environment
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and frameworks (PPAP, SCAR, CAPA, SPC, FMEA, 8D)
• Experience leading quality improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting
• Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment
Nice to Have
• ISO 9001 or Six Sigma / ASQ CQE certification
• Experience in server or data center hardware manufacturing
