About the Role
The Hardware Test Engineer (Server Operations Specialist, Testing) will lead hardware and system test planning and execution for server products supporting a major cloud infrastructure client.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and lead hardware/system test plans for server products
• Oversee execution of functional, stress, and burn-in testing across production lines
• Analyze test results, identify failure trends, and drive root-cause resolution
• Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to improve test coverage and reduce field failures
• Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with client and industry standards
• Support new product introduction (NPI) test readiness
Qualifications
• 4–7 years of experience in server/hardware testing or QA engineering
• Hands-on experience designing and executing hardware test plans
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing/lab environment
Nice to Have
• Experience with server or data center hardware specifically
• Familiarity with automated test frameworks
