We're looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our team, supporting clients in the Austin, TX area in a remote capacity.
About the Role
As HR Manager, you'll serve as a trusted HR partner to our client base—advising on employee relations, compliance, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR generalist who enjoys variety, works well independently, and wants to make an immediate impact across multiple client engagements.
What You'll Do
• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned client accounts, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters
• Manage full-cycle HR operations including onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, and performance management processes
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Investigate and resolve employee relations issues with sound judgment and discretion
• Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR policies, programs, and best practices
• Support performance evaluation cycles, goal-setting, and employee development initiatives
• Advise on and help administer HR systems and payroll platforms
• Collaborate with the recruiting team on workforce planning and hiring needs
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with legal standards
What You Bring
• 5 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist-level responsibility
• Solid working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practices across multiple states
• Experience with employee relations, performance management, and HR systems/payroll platforms
• Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive/confidential matters
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working directly with client leadership
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities remotely
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification a plus
• Based in or near the Austin, TX area preferred
