Bilingual Safety Specialist

HotFoot Recruiters is hiring a Bilingual Safety Specialist to support semiconductor facility maintenance and construction activities at the TSMC site in North Phoenix, AZ.

This role will support field safety compliance for crews performing filter replacement, ceiling-level work, cleanroom activities, and other facility maintenance operations. The ideal candidate is Mandarin-English bilingual, holds OSHA 30, and is comfortable working flexible weekday shifts in an active semiconductor environment.

Position: Bilingual Safety Specialist

Location: North Phoenix, AZ | TSMC Site

Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Pay Range: $60,000–$70,000 plus overtime eligibility

Equivalent Hourly Range: Approximately $29–$33/hr DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Shift times vary based on project needs

Typical Hours: 40–50 hours per week; peak periods may require up to 4 hours of daily overtime

Responsibilities

• Support daily safety operations for semiconductor facility maintenance and construction crews.
• Conduct field walkthroughs, hazard assessments, PPE checks, and safety inspections.
• Monitor work involving filter replacement, ceiling access, fall protection, cleanroom entry, and active facility areas.
• Ensure employees follow OSHA, TSMC, client, and company safety requirements.
• Lead or support toolbox talks, pre-task planning meetings, and daily safety briefings.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions with supervisors and field teams.
• Support incident reporting, investigations, root cause reviews, and corrective-action tracking.
• Maintain safety reports, training records, inspection logs, and compliance documentation.
• Verify proper use of fall protection, safety harnesses, PPE, and cleanroom attire.
• Communicate safety expectations clearly to Mandarin- and English-speaking employees.
• Coordinate with project leadership, contractors, client representatives, and site safety personnel.
• Support badge training, ceiling-work training, audits, and project-specific safety requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English required.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
• 2 years of construction safety, field safety, EHS, or industrial safety experience preferred.
• Semiconductor, TSMC, cleanroom, facility maintenance, or high-tech construction experience preferred.
• Familiarity with fall protection, ceiling work, PPE compliance, hazard recognition, and incident reporting.
• Comfortable walking active work areas and wearing required PPE for extended periods.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Able to work flexible weekday shifts, including early or later start times.
• Comfortable supporting overtime during peak project periods.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic safety reporting systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
