Housekeeper

Job Overview

Responsible for helping to achieve ongoing guest satisfaction and team goals through the maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness of the rooms. They are also responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel.

Essential Job Functions

• Servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures
• Stocking cart with room supplies
• Replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies
• Consistently clean assigned rooms/suites to the stands of cleanliness for the brand
• Removing trash and dirty linens from the rooms
• Sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors as well as hallways and stairways
• Reporting maintenance problems
• Cleaning furniture, elevators, glass, planters, etc., in public areas, such as lobby, pool, and public restrooms
• Offers guest assistance whenever possible

Additional Responsibilities

• Any other duties assigned by Supervisor

• Must have strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently
• Self-motivated
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Will be required to work holidays and weekends
