Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms to meet high standards of cleanliness.
- Dust, vacuum, and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Change linens and make beds according to established protocols.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to ensure clarity and shine.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Adhere to safety guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and floor care is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within set timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina; must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
