Public Space Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public spaces within our facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
• Ensure all surfaces are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained to uphold the highest standards of hygiene.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for assistance or information regarding facility amenities.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is an advantage.
• Experience in the hospitality or hotel industry is beneficial for understanding guest expectations.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
